27 May from 09:00 to 17:00
Autistic UK is proud to present this year’s conference, The Future is Gold. This is our 10th anniversary of autistic-led advocacy and we are eager to see what the next 10 years will hold! Join us on Bank Holiday Monday, 27 May from 09:00 to 17:00 to hear our incredible line up of speakers, video hellos from international activists, a discussion panel on the future of activism and how you can make a difference, a sneak peek trailer of a feature-length documentary, and more!
Our keynote speaker is none other than the renowned Steve Silberman, author of Neurotribes! We will also be featuring talks and information by Emma Dalmayne, Luke Beardon, Fiona Clarke, Sara Jane Harvey, Jamie and Lion, Ryan Hendry and film director Jerry Rothwell. We will also be showing short videos from some of our favourite international activists – Christa Holmans, Yann Purkis, Maxfield Sparrow and Eve Reiland.
Tea, coffee and water will be available all day and there will be a sandwich buffet at lunch time. This is included in the price of your ticket.
