Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Statement

The official Government and NHS medical advice relating to the corona virus is the same for autistic people as it is for the rest of the general public. However, there are those of us whose situations are dependent on personal contact from social care and mental health services. In these cases, we recommend that you also contact your service directly and find out their arrangements for the foreseeable future.

For the facts, updated rules and best medical advice about Covid-19, please visit the NHS coronavirus web site for full details.

What Autistic UK are Doing

Autistic UK have made necessary changes to its operations as a result of the coronavirus and is following the Government’s pandemic advice in a bid to limit the transmission of the coronavirus in our community.

The Going Gold Event, due to be held in April, has been postponed until the 1st of April 2021 and our planned event in Manchester later in the year will also be rescheduled for 2021.

Current Operations

Ongoing and new projects will be organised and administered online until such time as social distancing has ended, wherever possible. Autistic UK and our project organisers will make every effort to keep this web page updated with the most accurate and up-to-date information and will continue to maintain our social media presence.

Updates will be posted on this page and on the Facebook and Twitter pages.
